Arizona Tax Credit Program
The Arizona Tax Credit Program allows Arizona taxpayers to contribute up to $200 for individuals and up to $400 for married couples (filing jointly) for the support of extracurricular activities at a public/charter school of their choice and receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on their Arizona state income tax. A regulation change for the 2018 Tax Credit allows families to make a 2022 eligible tax credit up to April 15, 2023. Please visit the Arizona Department of Revenue website for this information.
Anyone who files an Arizona tax return can contribute. Simply contribute online to Western School of Science and Technology – A Challenge Foundation Academy by April 15, 2023. We will mail you a receipt with the school’s tax code to verify your contribution for tax purposes. You do not need to have a child at Western School of Science and Technology to contribute and claim the tax credit. The money you donate to Western School of Science and Technology’s Tax Credit Program will provide support for extracurricular activities such as tutoring, enrichment programs, field trips and guest speakers.
