About
Sofia Sabino is the Discipline Assistant and parent liaison and assists the School Social Worker from time to time. Sofia also helps run Cafecito with the help of Ms. Barajas. Sofia’s goal this school year is to increase parents’ participation at Western and educate parents about the resources that our Maryvale Community partners provide.
Before Western, Sofia worked at Arizona’s Children’s Association from 2017-2021, where she worked as a medical coordinator and client support specialist. Sofia worked closely with case managers, therapists, and psychiatrists to help coordinate treatment for AZCA’s clients. Sofia took many roles at ACCLAIM Academy Charter School, Sofia started as a teacher’s assistant and moved up to an office manager/ HR Assistant.
Sofia enjoys being outdoors when the weather allows it, her favorite place to visit with her husband and two children is Sedona. Sofia enjoys being surrounded by her family, good music, and good food. Sofia loves rainy days, plants, long walks, and watching “Friends”.
