About
Sariah Bolden is the Advanced Placement World History Teacher at Western School of Science and Technology. Sariah is also heavily involved in the Volleyball Program as JV Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach. This is Sariah’s 2nd year at WSST as a teacher and as a coach. On any given day you can find her teaching a class, helping lead practice or coaching a game, or at different after school events supporting students and staff.
Sariah recently moved across the country to Phoenix in the summer of 2022 from the Midwest. Sariah is originally from Metro-Detroit Michigan attending schools in the Wayne County area. For her undergraduate college degree Sariah attended Roosevelt University and in Chicago, Illinois for 4 years. Sariah received her undergraduate degree in History and Political Science with a minor in Women & Gender Studies. While in Chicago, Sariah was a Resident Assistant for 3 years and given the award of Best Resident Assistant 3 years in a row. Sariah is currently attending Arizona State University and will graduate in the Spring of 2024 with a Masters in Secondary Education.
In her free time, Sariah enjoys spending time with her friends and family; from watching Marvel and other superhero movies to going shopping and eating out at different restaurants around the valley. Sariah has recently gotten into the “typical” Arizona activities which includes; hiking and going on different nature adventures!
