About
Sariah Bolden, M.Ed, is the AP World History and AP United States History teacher. As the World History and United States history, Bolden liked to help her students learn to love history and social studies. Sariah also is the JV Head Volleyball Coach and Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach. As a volleyball coach within the volleyball program at Western, Bolden loves to help support the girls’ development and confidence in volleyball and life! Bolden is also the advisor to the Lakers, a class of juniors. Bolden loves to build community with her advisory as they have been together since their freshmen year!
Sariah has 3 years of experience in education in Arizona. Bolden received her Masters in Secondary Education – Social Studies from Arizona State University in Spring 2024. Before that, Bolden lived in Chicago for 4 years as she was obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree from Roosevelt University in History & Political Science with a minor in Women & Gender Studies. She is passionate in all areas of history and political science, supporting her students in all aspects of life. She loves working at Western with our students and family – which is shown because all 3 years of her experience of education has been spent at Western.
In her free time Sariah enjoys watching Star Wars and Superhero content, playing volleyball, spending time with friends and family, reading, and crafting!
