About
Ramses Lugo, is the Director of the AVID program, 12th Grade AVID Teacher and an Instructional Coach at Western School of Science and Technology. As the Director of AVID, Mr. Lugo provides support for all students in the AVID program and ensures that all Western students are exposed to AVID practices that will lead them to academic and career success.
Ramses Lugo has 13 years of teaching experience and is heading into his 10th year at Western. He is passionate about ensuring that all students that graduate from Western are given the tools they need to find success in their career aspirations and life. Being born and raised in West Phoenix he wants to give back to the community that shaped him into the person he is today.
In his free time, Mr. Lugo loves to spend time with his wife and four children. He also likes to watch Arizona sports and studying history.
