Education
BA in Elementry Education degree and a minor in Mathematic, MSU Denver
About
Emily Hanson teaches 7th and 10th Grade English and Film Appreciation at Western School of Science and Technology. She is also the Student Council Sponsor.
Emily graduated from MSU Denver in 2020 with her Elementary Education degree and a minor in Mathematics. Shortly after, Emily moved to Arizona so her husband could attend law school at ASU. Western is Emily’s first teaching job.
Emily attributes her love of teaching to her family, where she is the tenth person to pursue a career in education.
In her free time, Emily enjoys collecting and playing board games with her husband Conner, tending to her many plants, crafting, and spending time with her dogs (read children) Yogi Bear, Boo-Boo Bear Hanson, and her cat Bagheera!
