About
Victor Castillo is the High School Pre-AP Algebra 1 and Middle School Math teacher at Western School of Science and Technology. Victor is also the Drumline coach for the school. This is Victor’s fifth year at Western.
Victor previously taught in Helena-West Helena, Arkansas where he passionately fought for proper student equity and restorative practices among teacher and student relationships. Victor’s experiences include 11th-12th Grade Level Chair, a case researcher for the UT Austin Neuroscience department, lead mentor for scholarship programs, and the spanish resident advisor for the Project SEED program.
Mr. Castillo enjoys playing board games, video games, karaoke, dancing, and tennis. He also enjoys improv acting and horror movie marathons. But above all, he enjoys the psychology of reality TV drama and human behavior.
