About
Corey Gaidzik is the general and advanced placement (AP) chemistry teacher at Western School of Science and Technology. Corey is a passionate science teacher that engages students with a holistic approach to the scientific method that prepares students for the rigors of higher education as well as an ever-evolving STEM field.
Before teaching at Western, Corey taught and certified field medics for the US Army. He worked hand-in-hand with Afghan interpreters to provide medical training and accreditation to over 300 Afghan military and police officers.
In his free time, Corey is an avid bird-watcher and advocate for conservation. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Jenny, and daughter, Mia.
