Public Participation at Board Meetings

Members of the public are invited to attend meetings of the Board. As required by Arizona’s Open Meeting Law, the Board may only discuss items that are listed on the official meeting agenda.

Individuals who wish to comment on an agenda item must submit a Public Comment Form at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. The request must be submitted in writing and emailed to boardinfo@wsst.school.

Board of Directors Meetings

Notices for the meetings are posted on the front of the school (6515 W. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85033) at least 24 hours prior to each meeting.

Board meetings are typically held on the second Thursday of every month at 8:30 AM at Western School of Science and Technology: A Challenge Foundation Academy (6515 W. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85033) or virtually with the link provided in the agenda, and are open to the public; however, the Board does at times need to meet on a different day or week and those meetings will all be listed in the portal below. 

A quorum of the Board may be present at certain school events that do not constitute a meeting, and no official school business will be discussed. This may occur on the following occasions but is not limited to Meet the Teacher, Parent Teacher Conferences, Fall Fiesta, Winterfest, Graduation, Promotion, and other school celebrations.
