About
John Larson is the AP US History and AP Computer Science Principles teacher. In both classes, Mr. Larson exposes students to the rigors of a college level course offered by the College Board and prepares students to take the AP Exams in May. He also serves as the leader of the Child Study Team. The Child Study Team looks at new students to Western that may be in need of additional supports to be successful in the classroom.
This is Mr. Larson’s 10th year at Western where he has also worked as the announcer for football and basketball games. Mr. Larson is passionate about preparing students for the rigors of college and supporting students in their athletic endeavors!
In his free time, Mr. Larson enjoys coaching volleyball, making pizza, and working out with his wife.
